One to one session
Our first session will be a space for us to discuss your problems, goals and aspirations, in a safe, confidential supportive space.
The initial consultation aims to explore background information, giving us the chance to get to know one another. Identifying the problem areas, setting goals, making an initial flexible plan and exploring the right model. With my wide range of psychological theories, practice of therapeutic and coaching models there is the opportunity to be flexible with the approach used. Also to agreeing on the numbers of sessions which can be anything from 5 onwards depending on your needs.
The number of sessions will be different for each person and will be assessed on an individual needs basis. Some people benefit from short term counselling whilst others find they need counselling longer term. We will come to an agreement, having a review every six to eight weeks. This gives us the opportunity to reflect where you are within your counselling process.
Each session will run for 50 minuties unless agreed otherwise. I am able to offer sessions weekdays, evening or weekend depending on availability.
